What’s on my Kindle?

Here’s a quick rundown of a few of the books I’ve been reading lately.

Lots of Action

MobstersFirst off a great story that provided police procedural with some great characters. In Mobsters and Miracles by Lavinia Lewis, the main characters are detectives. Lucas falls for his straight partner and together the need to bring down the bad guys. Lots of action, and some great loving.

And more lots of action…

If the Seas Catch FireStill on the theme of mobsters, If the Seas Catch Fire by L.A. Witt is set in the world of the mafia. With hitmen and violence, and strippers, and loads of action, it’s also full of lots of hot sex. It’s the story of two men who are caught in the web of their families making with no clear idea of escape. They are forced to do things they don’t want to do, until dead seems the only the option.

and then a comfort read

KyleI love RJ Scott, there’s no secret there. She’s just released a new series (Legacy Ranch) and the first book is Kyle. It’s a spin-off from her well-loved Texas series so we meet familiar characters. I say this is a comfort read because when I read a book by RJ Scott, I know what to expect and I love the stories she weaves. However, the characters in this story ( and I assume the series) are very broken men. Both Kyle and Jason have troubled pasts, including abuse, and are struggling mentally. I liked that they didn’t get together straight away and this was more a slow burn.

Looking for something to read this weekend? How about trying one of the books above, or if you want to read one of mine, here are the links to my Rustic series. You can find these at Amazon and they are available on Kindle Unlimited.
