RAINBOW SNIPPETS: 23rd December #rainbowsnippets #gayromance

This snippet is from the Andrew’s Promise, and it’s something I do hold true – sometimes relationships between two people aren’t meant to be, not until those people are at the right time in their life. Andrew’s Promise is a second chance love story.

Tanner grinned and thought back to his discussion with Antonio. “Someone recently told me that life has a plan, that there’s a purpose behind everything. That some things aren’t meant to be until the time is right.”

“You’re talking about destiny?”

“I guess I am. I think this is our destiny.”

Drew looked around the outdated kitchen and indicated the half-eaten plates of beef casserole. “This is our destiny?”

“Idiot.” Tanner threw a green bean at him. “Us. You and me.”

A broad smile spread across Drew’s face. “I know,” he whispered. “But I do like to hear you say it.”

Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction – a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation. In the group you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQ+. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes, anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be 6 sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.

Have a great weekend and happy reading!
