Redz on Redz World Reviews wrote:... Nic Starr is one of my go-to authors when I want a contemporary romance read, and she never disappoints. This is a lovely friends-to-lovers story with Simon and Patrick being both smitten with the other but not wanting to make that first step in case it ruins their friendship. [...] Iโd recommend Patrickโs Savior to readers who enjoy contemporary romance with likeable characters, a touch of mystery, and real sense of family being not only the one youโre born into but the friends you make along the way. Dawn on Gay Media Reviews wrote:... This is my first time reading the series and I was not lost at all, I would consider this book to be standalone. I loved this love story. It unfolds as friendship and progresses at a believable pace. There is simmering attraction that keeps the heat as the relationship builds. I really felt both men in this book were well developed and had good substance. [...] If you want a great suspense with a lot of heart and soul this is the one to pick up. (5 stars)
Grace on Bike Book Reviews wrote:... You won't be able to help it but love both Patrick and Simon from the first page. You will already know Patrick from an earlier book, but if you haven't read the first two books, that will not be a problem - but I would say buy the rest of the series, it is really good. (5 stars)
... Nic Starr has added another wonderful read to her Heros series. Even with few instances of high heat on the page, the smoldering passion between them bolsters their relationship and makes the read that much more enjoyable. (5 stars)
