As Morgan and Shae get to know each other again, they discover the extent that friends meddled in their lives to keep them apart. Morgan cannot deny he is still in love with Shae, but he is engaged. INTERVIEW
It’s great to be joined by Sue Brown as part of her Blog Tour for Stolen Dreams. Welcome, Sue. 🙂
Firstly the cover. It’s gorgeous! Can you share a little about the process for selecting the perfect cover to capture the essence of your stories and characters?
Sue: Thank you for having me. Isn’t the Stolen Dreams cover just wonderful? Brooke Albrecht produced so many wonderful draft but the second I saw the cover I knew it was the one. Those eyes just draw you in.
I am not the best person to talk about covers. I don’t *see* my characters and I don’t generally use models as inspiration. I’m more interested in their head space. So when an artist can see my characters from the ramblings I give them I am very lucky.
Now to the story. Where did the inspiration for the story come from and was it difficult to write a romance with characters in such a complex situation, dealing with issues from the past and the presence of fiancé for one of the characters?
Sue: A lot of things to answer there. The inspiration came from someone in my fanfic days. I prefer writing about real life complex issues. I want my characters to have back life. I want to know where they’ve lived and loved, and like Morgan, screwed up. Our guys don’t live in a vacuum. They love people and sometimes relationships are messy. In answer to your question, it wasn’t difficult to write. I love writing stories like this.
Can you share any secrets about Shae and Morgan?
Sue: No way! I would never give away their secrets.
Who is your favourite character in the book and why?
Sue: Morgan – because he has to grow up a hell of a lot in this story. Emotionally he’s taken on a roller-coaster.
Can you share an interesting fact your readers may not know about you?
Sue: I’m the youngest of six (lost a sister recently). My oldest brother is twenty-four years older than me. When I was a kid my brothers were older than some of my friends’ parents.
Thanks for sharing, Sue and best of luck with the release.

About the Author
Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. In fact she hides so she can plot and has gotten expert at ignoring the orders.
Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. The series was boring; the kissing was not. She may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
