I’m of the belief that you can never have too much romance in your life, and romance definitely should not be saved up for Valentine’s Day.
Show the ones you love, how much they mean to you everyday – whether it be through your actions or words. Tell people how you feel, make them feel special, love them for who they are.
For me and my hubby, it’s the small things that count. He brings me a cup of tea each evening, I show an interest in his photography hobby that makes him feel special, he gives me time to do my writing, and so on.
And each day, make sure you lose yourself in a wonderful m/m romance story. That way you can experience a little magic and a happy ending, every day.

You are so right, romance shouldn’t be just saved for Valentines day . It is so important to show your loved ones you care every day and not only on february 14th 🙂
I sometimes think that Valentine’s is just for the restaurants and retailers, but when I say that I often get called a grumpy old woman 🙂
My idea of a the perfect romantic evening… Well, as a single lady it would be a good book, delicious carry out and splurging on dessert.
I think that Valentine’s Day can be a good reminder that we should remember to do those little things for our loved ones every day. Sometimes we get so caught up in things during the day that we forget. I’m not a huge fan of the day itself…overpriced flowers and restaurants filled to the max…but we celebrate with small things and maybe a dinner out on another day.
Thanks for the post and the V-Day hop. I see Valentine’s Day as a chance to do something nice for my husband and kids just as an additional reminder that I love them. It is also an excuse for us to cook a nice steak (we rarely eat beef) and open a bottle of red wine.
A romantic evening for me would include a nice meal with a bottle of wine. Good conversation and a bath or massage together. (Oh and my kids occupied somewhere else. :-))
When I was younger I wasn’t always a big fan of Valentine’s day, often because I was always disappointed. But, now that I’ve found my person, I like it. I think it’s a chance to do something a little extra special. 🙂 For me, a romantic evening is getting to spend time together doing something we both enjoy. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just something that makes us happy.
I’ve never been a big fan of Valentine’s Day. I think you’re right on with your post though. It is a day where you don’t have to do anything extravagant as long as you’re with your loved one.
Romance isn’t just the grand gestures made on Valentine’s Day. It’s the right amount of creamer in my coffee every morning and hundreds of other small things my hubby does everyday.
The best would be if gave me a full body massage, followed by home cooked meal, and a quiet evening by the fireplace with champagne.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
My idea of the perfect romantic evening would be to spend it with my partner doing something we both enjoy. But we do not really celebrate it where I live. XD
And Happy Valentine’s Day for those who celebrate it. <3
My idea of the perfect romantic evening is share romantic meal and have a quiet evening together.
A nice quiet dinner for two at home with no distractions. Music, candles, and just talking to one another about their day, getting to know one another if you had drifted apart a bit. Dessert can lead to many other things.
not enough options for the chocolate question, I prefer to 90% chocolate, with red of course.
My ideal romantic evening would be making dinner then watching movies or sitting outside by the firepit with hot chocolate or tea.
If time, money and distance were no object, my romantic evening would be spent with hubs strolling on a warm sandy beach far far away, with the tide lapping gently at our feet as we watch the sun go down xx
