I’ve done a lot of reading this month. Yes, I should be writing, but it’s been one of those times when I’ve just wanted to lose myself in a book and indulge myself by reading stories written by others. Reading is one of my greatest stress-relievers, the perfect escape from my everyday worries.
I thought I’d share some of my favourites from this month’s books with you.
Open Ice Hit by E.M. Lindsay and Marina Vivancos
Hockey. I just can’t resist. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I’m in Australia where ice hockey doesn’t have the high profile it does elsewhere. I love reading about the sport, the teams, the challenges on ice, and of course, the players finding love. This was a great enemies-to-lovers romance. It’s available from Amazon and on Kindle Unlimited.
Down and Out by Parker St. John
One word. Cowboys. Do I need to say more? I have such a soft spot for cowboy romance and love to spend time on the ranch with the men and their horses. This story features second chances and has all the feels. You can check it out here.
Night Prince by Felice Stevens
The Night Prince isn’t Felice’s standard fare. Her stories are usually wonderful contemporary romances so it intrigued me to see how she handled this paranormal romance. I wasn’t disappointed. It was a great story! If vampires are your thing, or even if they aren’t, I recommend you give this book a go. You can find it on Amazon.
Kept Man by Alexa Land
This book kept the smile on my face with its low-angst story. I loved the characters and the happy ending. If you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy romance with some humour, give this is a go. You can find the book here.
I hope you find a book that you love from my recommendations. I’d love to hear what books have been the highlight of your month so don’t be shy to comment.
Happy reading,
Nic
