Thinking of Rob gave him such a feeling of hope, like things were going to be all right. That whisper-light touch on his cheek hinted that Sam’s suspicions about Rob were correct. There was so much promise in that touch. Sam placed his hand on his cheek in the same spot where Rob’s fingers had laid against his face. He definitely knew that he wanted to spend more time with him, to find out if fate had more in store for them.

Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction – a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation. In the group you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQ+.
