The week has kicked off in a big way. I’ve been busy, busy, busy on the writing front and it’s only Monday!
I’ve been tweaking blurbs and outlining cover requirements for More than a Friend, which comes out about October. I’ve also sent back the second lot of edits for the story. I can now breathe until the next lot of edits arrive. 🙂
I received the promotional material from the publisher for Andrew’s Promise, the story following Charlie’s Hero. I guess that means I need to plan for a cover reveal. Andrew’s Promise will be available in August.
Rustic Melody is due to start edits very soon. I think I’ve mentioned before, it’s my first novel set in Australia so I’m very excited about it. My current WIP is coming along nicely too. I started using a new sprinting app today. This is an app designed to motivate and encourage writing by tracking and rewarding word count. So far so good! It also helped that I had a few lovely author friends to sprint with and spur me on.
In summary, I’ve edited, emailed, written a scene, posted a bit to Facebook and updated my webpage. I’ve also squeezed in the spring cleaning of my bedroom wardrobes (it’s Winter here in Australia but the Spring cleaning bug has bitten hard).
Hope you have a fun and productive week. Check out below for the next stops on the Charlie’s Hero blog tour. There’s an interview, a guest post, and another fabulous review.
Happy reading.
Nic xx
