I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. I’ve been busy with family stuff – kid’s weekend sport, shopping with teenage daughters, and cooking a special dinner. We are blessed with wonderful fish markets here in Sydney. My husband paid a visit and came home with fish, calamari, prawns, and scallops on the shell. I turned it into a Spanish fish stew. Served with crusty bread and a nice Riesling, it was a perfect end to the weekend.
On the book front, I bought a couple of novels. Don’t you just love the $0.99 deals from Dreamspinner? I grabbed all three EM Lynley novels that were offered this weekend. I’m reading My Cowboy Promises by Z.A. Maxfield and thoroughly enjoying it. I have managed to drag myself away from the Kindle and have done some writing. I’ve completed the first two chapters of my new novel, tentatively titled Pay It Forward. I’m loving the characters and hope to get a lot more done this week.
I’ve also been really happy to see the success of Charlie’s Hero. There have been some fabulous reviews and my heart has swelled when people have contacted me to say how much they loved the story. Thank you, wonderful readers. <3
I wish you all the best for a fabulous week.
Happy reading.
